The Avron Guest House in Babbacombe, Torquay, is an elegant Victorian property with many original features. Only a ten minute walk from the breathtaking Babbacombe Downs and Cliff Railway, and a 15 minute downhill walk to the Town Centre and Harbour. An ideal touring base for South Devon, as we are within walking distance of the centre and many local attractions, but far enough away to give you that quiet retreat for a relaxing break.

For guests visiting Torquay without a car, the public transport system in Torbay is efficient and regular. Local buses stop at the bottom of Avron's driveway to the town centre, St Marychurch, Brixham and Paignton. So you don't need to walk far to hop on a bus. From Torquay harbour buses run regularly to most places in South Devon, including Plymouth, Exeter, Teignmouth, Totnes, and Cockington Village.

It is so easy to get about, and with so much to do you will wish you were in Torquay for a longer stay!
